As a young writer, Chani Horowitz landed the assignment of a lifetime: a profile of her celebrity crush, Gabe Parker, the actor newly cast as James Bond. The weekend they spent together became the stuff of tabloid legend and changed both their lives. Ten years later, divorced and a successful writer in her own right, Chani is asked by Gabe's team to interview him again, and the story moves between that first whirlwind encounter and their present-day reunion as she finds out whether their connection was as real as she remembers. Library Journal called it a smart, sexy tale of second-chance love, and Publishers Weekly praised its thoughtful look at the bond between a Los Angeles writer and a movie star.
