Brendon Lowell built a dating app because he believes in true love, and he has had a crush on his sister's best friend, Annie Kyriakos, since they were kids. When Annie arrives in Seattle unexpectedly for a short visit before a job takes her to London, she is not looking for romance, least of all with her best friend's little brother, but the gangly boy she remembers has become a very attractive grown man. Learning that Annie has given up on love, Brendon sets out to change her mind by staging elaborate dates borrowed from his favorite romantic comedies, while the clock runs down on her time in town.
