Her Pride

Who cares who I am when all I ever needed is you? Mia Phillips My life has always been perfectly ordinary. I love my quiet life here in Greenwich: Being a Teacher was what I always wanted to become. I read in the evenings. I tend a small plot in a community garden. I share a flat. Nothing dramatic ever happens, something people call boring. To me, it's peace. Did I ask myself if there might be more? Of course. Everyone does. People talk about the next step on the career ladder, the next big thing, finding 'The One', marrying, and having kids. Milestones checked on a list. I don't. I am content with what I have. What else could I possibly need? Victoria Grace Fitzroy In all my years on this wonderful planet, I have never questioned myself. Why would I? I was born into wealth and had freedoms most women could only dream of. I believe in living life to the fullest, liberated, with the expression of self, and that is exactly what I do. I built a well-known, yet highly exclusive private club for the lovers of hedonism and frivolity: The £1 Million Club. If someone were to ask me why I never settled, I'd say mediocrity. I've long accepted that the woman I desire does not exist, and I stopped looking. I am content with the extravagance of my life; why would I settle for anything less? A sapphic love story of a different kind between two women who couldn't be more different yet were meant to be together. Please note: This book is the one in the dark romance series Her Sins that lets you breathe, yet it contains dark and possibly triggering topics and themes, including a 33-year age gap, descriptive smut, and kinky scenes.
