The Kiss of Deception

Seventeen-year-old Princess Lia, First Daughter of the House of Morrighan, refuses to be married off to a prince she has never met to seal a political alliance. On the morning of her wedding she flees, stealing ancient documents from the Chancellor's secret collection on the way, and hides among the common folk of a distant seaside village while her own father's bounty hunters search for her. Two handsome strangers soon arrive: one is the prince she jilted and the other an assassin sent to kill her, and Lia has no idea which is which. Told from three points of view that keep readers guessing, the first Remnant Chronicles book is a romantic YA fantasy that Kirkus called slightly uneven but rich and exciting throughout.
