The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches

Mika Moon has spent her life following the rules for witches in Britain: hide your magic, keep your head down and never get too close to other witches. Then a mysterious message asks her to tutor three young witches at a remote place called Nowhere House, and against every instinct she goes. There she finds a household of oddballs, including a retired actor, two caretakers, an absent archaeologist and Jamie, the prickly, protective librarian who looks after the children, and with them a family and a romance she never expected. When danger threatens this new home, Mika has to decide how much she is willing to risk for the people who have become her own. Critics called this cozy romantic fantasy charming and effervescent, a warm hug of found family and love.
