Kiss Her Once for Me

A year ago, animator Ellie Oliver had a magical Christmas Eve meet-cute with a woman in a Portland bookstore and fell for her in a single night, only to be hurt the next morning and lose her dream job soon after. Now broke and lonely, she is working at a coffee shop when its landlord, Andrew, drunkenly proposes a scheme: a marriage of convenience that would secure his inheritance and solve her money problems. Ellie agrees to spend the holidays at his family's cabin to sell their fake engagement, then discovers that Andrew's sister, Jack, is the woman from that unforgettable night. Funny, cozy and tender, this queer holiday rom-com weighs the safety of a pretend relationship against the risk of a real one, with a warm found-family cast.
